Drawing as a medium has long been understood as a means of individual creative realisation and visual communication, a language to think through and develop ideas. By utilising these strengths of drawing and placing the focus on collaborative practice; Re.Draw will seek to evolve a flexible research tool capable of innovation and connecting research with society's challenges and opportunities, as identified by Creative Industries Futures program.
Re.Draw will ask: how can collaborative drawing be used to become more aware of the social, cultural or economic structures within which we work, and how are we able, through this awareness, to address their inherent challenges and opportunities.
